For Pacific Standard’s May/June 2012 issue, Column Five collaborated with the magazine to produce an infographic describing the growth of the West Coast over the past 50 years. This two-page spread illustrates the rise of industry on the West Coast and examines the changes in immigration, manufacturing, and population growth over the past five decades.
We’re glad to be able to work with Pacific Standard as they transition to a new philosophy and direction. The magazine recently announced the appointments of the new Editor-In-Chief Maria Streshinsky, formerly with The Atlantic, and new President and Publisher P. Steven Ainsley, former publisher of The Boston Globe.
Continuing the tradition set by the now-rebranded Miller-McCune magazine, Pacific Standard will publish fact-based long-form journalism analyzing the world’s developing social and environmental issues, though now with a more modern look and feel.
