What do you want to tell us about yourself?

I love comedy, karaoke, white wine, baking, and autobiographies. I say I want to be Beyoncé. But I actually want to be Maya Rudolph doing an impression of Beyoncé.

What’s on your ultimate karaoke playlist?

If it was ever on a Now That’s What I Call Music CD, it’s on my list: Nsync, Mariah, Britney, Christina, Alanis, Fiona, Beyoncé, Boyz II Men, Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Michael Jackson, Lisa Loeb. People hate on my top-40 taste all the time. But when they come to my karaoke parties, I always see them break and get on the mic for Montel Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It” or The Cranberries’ “Zombie.” Those are the moments I live for.

Side note: My karaoke soul sister is C5 Director of Production, Andrea Bravo. We karaoke so much that we have to retire songs (RIP “Shoop” by Salt-N-Pepa).

Considering that you do stand-up comedy, do you recall the first joke
you ever told?

The first joke I remember making was when I was maybe 10 years old. My dad is from Oklahoma, and he told me that some of the most educated people are from there. I asked him if it was because they repeat every grade.

What’s your secret talent?

My mom trained in circus arts and passed those nerdy skills on to me. I can juggle clubs. But she juggles torches and knives, so I feel like a failure.

What’s your favorite thing about working at C5?

The people and the work. We all have different backgrounds, so everybody brings something unique to the table. I’m constantly inspired by my coworkers’ personal passions, whether it’s the office foodies or my swag coaches on D-block. I feel so lucky to do creative things with creative people.
